Transmitting device for multiplex signal for automobile

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a plurality of switches on a handle and make them operate surely by multiplexing signals from the switches on the handle, transmitting the same thereby as optical signals, and operating the handle based on the logical sum of a plurality of light-receiving elements. CONSTITUTION:On the handle are provided a plurality of switches 22-24 for turn signals, etc. and a multiplexing circuit 20 transmits signals therefrom as multiplex signals of time division, etc. by driving a luminous element 11. On the side of a car body, a plurality of light-receiving element 12A and 12B are provided and these are connected with a decoder 30 by a logical sum circuit 35. The decoder 30 analyses the multiplex signals and drives loads 38-40. Since the light-receiving elements are provided in plural and, in addition, the operation is conducted based on the logical sum, the reliability of the device can be increased.
