Transmitting device for multiplex signal for automobile
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable installing of a plurality of switches such as turn signals on a handle by multiplexing signals from the switches on the handle and transmitting the same through optical signals. CONSTITUTION:On the handle are provided a right-turn switch 22, a left-turn switch 23, a horn switch 24 and the like and the signals therefrom are made multiplexed such as time-division multiplex signals, etc. by a multiplexing circuit 20, whereby a luminous element 11 is driven. On the side of a car body, an element 12 receiving these optical signals and a decoder 30 are provided and thereby corresponding loads 38, 39 and 40 are driven. The luminous element 11 is provided in plural so that the optical signals reaches a light-receiving element even when the handle is revolved. Since the transmission of the signals from the revolved handle to the car body is conducted by means of the multiplexed optical signals, a plurality of switches can be provided on the handle and, in addition, the reliability of the device can be increased since any connecting wires are not used.
