Die plate-attaching device for extruder
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a rapid and easy replacement of die plate, by a method wherein a die plate-supporting means whereto a plurarity of die plates are attached, is rotatably installed to a dolly travelling in an extrusion direction. CONSTITUTION:Rails 14 are laid in parallel to a projecting direction of an extrusion cylinder 2 in front of a kneading, extruding device 1 for a thermosetting resin molding material, and a die plate-supporting means, which can turn horizontally, is mounted on a dolly 25 which can freely travel along said rails 14. Die plates 5, 5 are attached to the die plate-supporting means 3 through the medium of a plurarity of fitting plates installed thereat. The die plates are attached to a front side and a back side of the supporting means 3 in the manner described above, whereby the die plate can be replaced simply by turning the die plate-supporting means 3 horizontally, and the die plate 5 and a flange 6 can be rapidly held between the nips formed by clamps located on a clamp stand 8.
