Method of converting energy

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To decrease a loss and improve a conversion efficiency by arresting a mechanical movable means by a method wherein the energy is converted by utilizing capacity changes of a capacitor due to the movement of sea water. CONSTITUTION:Metal plates 1 and 1' are arranged facing to each other to form the capacitor 4. Supports 5 supporting the capacitor 4 are arranged projected from the undersea and the sea water is filled or emptied between the electrode plates 1 and 1' according to the up-and-down movements of the waves of the sea water 6. The capacitor 4 is applied the prescribed voltage to be charged with the sea water remaining filled in the capacitor 4, and the charged capacitor 4 is made to discharge to take out the electric energy in the state that the sea water is removed from the capacitor 4.
