Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate the complication of the rear wiper operation for the rear window glass by automatically controlling it in accordance with the number of operations of the front wiper for the front window glass and the ON and OFF operations of the wiper switch. CONSTITUTION: The number of operations signal SN detected by a detection circuit 1, which detects the number of operations of the front wiper, is frequency-divided into 1/n by a frequency division circuit 2 and the signal obrained are waveform- shaped by a waveform shaping circuit 3. For example, this waveform shaping circuit 3 consists of a single multivibrator. The circuit 3 converts the signal into the pulse signal with fixed width as a wiper drive signal. Subsequently, this signal is amplified by an amplification circuit 4 and intermittently drive a rear wiper motor 6 by driving a wiper relay 5. This forms a single system of the front and rear wipers.
