Hydro-pneumatic suspension for automobile
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent pressure inside a working fluid room from abruptly reducing when relative extension of a piston and a cylinder is excessively exhibited, by forming recovery holes in specific positions in an inner shell in which a piston is free to reciprocate, thereby connecting the fluid working chamber to an accumulating case. CONSTITUTION:Under no load, suspending reaction of a hydro-pneumatic suspension is caused by a presure in a gas room independently shaped by a diaphragm 2 in a primary accumulting case 1. When an automobile is loaded with cargoes or others, a cylinder 7 closed by an inner shell 7A and an outer shell 7B displaces in relative to a hollow rod 6, causing a suspension to lower temporally. an inner pressure in the gas room 3 in the primary accumulation case 1 rises high as long as the vacant rod 6 advances into the case. To communicate a primary working fuid chamber 9 to a working fluid chamber 13 in a secondary accumulating case 12 in case relative extention of a piston and a cyliner is excessively exhibited, a recovery opening 23 and another one 24 are made in the inner shell 7A.
