Centralized processing unit of copiers

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To conduct centralized processing of a copier, providing meanns for reading out section codes enabling each of a plurality of copiers to run, means for producing a signal for counting up copy number each time a copying step is finished. CONSTITUTION:Controllers 5 of copiers are connected with each interface 7 individually provided with each copier 1-4 through connecting cables 6A-6D. Many kinds of signals produced from each copier 1-4 are transmitted to controller 5 through cables 6A-6D. Card reader 8 consists of card reading unit 8a for reading out section codes and display 8b for indicating the copy number of a concerned section together with its section code, thus permitting summing up of the copy number of each section to be made centrally in one position and each section to be automatically controlled.
