Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To locate a record disc accurately at the center by providing staircase- shaped grooves to a belt conveyor which transfers the record disc from an insertion port to the turntable. CONSTITUTION: Now, when a record disc of a 17-cm diameter is inserted to roughly the central position of an insertion port 1, the record disc engages with the steped part 5c on the innermost side of the grooves 5 of a belt conveyor 4, is thereby accurately located in the central position and is transferred to a turntable 3. At this time, even if it fairly deviates from the central part of the insertion port, the record disc is accurately located at the center of the grooves as it is withdrawn as long as the edge of the record disc is on the step part 5c. When the record disc comes to the terminal position of the belt conveyor 4, the record disc transfers onto rollers 8, 8', and stop by abutting on guide posts 9, 9', 9", then the detecting members 10, 10', 10" of the guide posts detect this and move the turntable 3 which has been in the down position upward, thereby accurately placing the record disc on the turntable 3.
