Input unit for japanese word

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To form Japanese word by converting the reading into desired expression, by using the indication key converting the reading into Katakana (Japanese syllabory in square form), Hiragana (Japanese syllabary in round form) and Kanji (Chinese character) with selection at any time, immediately after the input of reading from the keyboard. CONSTITUTION: The reading of Japanese word is input to the keyboard 1, and the reading is displayed on the display 3. Further, the dictionary file 4 storing the reading and the expression corresponding as a pair is provided, and Japanese sentence is formed on the display 3 based on the reading input. The key 8 converting the input character into Katakana, key 10 converting it into Hiragana, and key 9 converting it into Kanji are provided, and immediately after the input of reading from the keyboard 1, the indication keys are used with selection at any time, allowing to convert the reading into desired expression to form Japanese sentence.
