Wiper driving unit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate a wiper switch and mode change and addition of another functions by generating pulses using a momentary switch, storing these pulses, and controlling the motor driving section of the wiper using this memory. CONSTITUTION: Since only the Q terminal of the shift register SR 1 performs output using the pulses from the Schmitt gate SG 2 , both motor WM and the wiper turn off with the power supply ON. By the first ON of the switch SW, the Q terminal of the register SR 2 performs output by the pulses from the Schmitt gate and oscillator OSC oscillates. The relay RA' changes into the contact M through the OR gate OG 3 and the relay RA and the power motor WM and the wiper operate low intermittently in accordance with the OSC frequency. By the second ON of the wiper switch SW, the Q terminal of the shift register SR 3 makes output. The relay RA' changes into the contact M through the OR gate OG 3 and the relay RA and wiper motor WM and the wiper operates low. By the third ON of the wiper switch SW, the Q terminal of the shift register SR 4 makes output. Both relays RB' and RA' change into the contact M through the relays RB, OR gate OG 3 , and relay RA. The wiper rotates high. By the fourth ON of the wiper switch WS, the shift register SR 1 makes output and the wiper motor WM and the wiper returns to the initial off status.
