Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a nematic liquid crystal composition composed of specific four kinds of compounds, having excellent dynamic driving characteristics, and exhibiting nematic behavior over a wide temperature range. CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) a compound of formula I R 1 , R 2 are 1W6C straight chain alkyl), (B) a compound of formula II (R 3 is 1W6C straight chain alkyl), (C) a compound III (R 4 is 1W5C straight chain alkyl), and (D) a compound of formula IV (R 5 is 3W8C straight chain alkyl).
