Core of heat-exchanger made of aluminum alloy
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To protect a sheet or a pipe, which is to become a passage of operating fluid body, from corrosion, by sacrifice anode action of a fin material whose chemical composition and combination are specifically prescribed. CONSTITUTION: A fin material 1 is composed of a brazing sheet made of the aluminum alloy material prescribed by the separate specification I as a core material and a brazing material of an Al-Si or an Al-Si-Mg alloy as a covering sheet material, and this fin material 1 is combined with an operating fluid body passage 3. As the fin 1 becomes an anode and the operating fluid body passage 3 becomes a cathode, corrosive current flows from the fin 1 to the operating fluid body passage 3 and a brazed fillet section 2 in the direction of the arrows causing a corroded hole 5 to the fin 1 to protect the operating fluid body passage 3 from corrosion.
