Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To increase adsorptive capacity by a method wherein an adsorbent, whose principal ingredient is natural zeolite, is cooled by means of a cooling means consisting of a refrigerant vessel and an adsorbent holding member. CONSTITUTION: An adsorber 1 is manufactured in structure that can be cooled at the temperature of liquid nitrogen from the outside by means of a low-temperature dure 2 for housing the liquid nitrogen. An adsorbent 10 using natural zeolite with little iron content and a fibrous copper 11 with excellent heat transmission are alternately filled in the vessel in stratiform shapes. Thus, the adsorbent can efficiently adsorb substance to be adsorbed by cooling the adsorbent at a low temperature. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
