Production of micro structure element array
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To readily produce a micro-fly-eye lens screen by using two-dimensional periodic interference patterns. CONSTITUTION: A beam expander system 2, 3 and a lens holder 4 which holds 3 pieces of lenses 5 1 W5 3 are disposed for a pattern recording member 8. Three spot light sources 6 1 W6 3 positioning at the vertexes of a regular triangle are formed by using a laser luminous flux 1 and the spreads 9 1 W9 3 of the luminous fluxes from these spot light sources 6 1 W6 3 are radiated to the pattern recording member 8 composed of photo polymer or the like, whereby two-dimensional periodic interference patterns 10 are formed and recorded. Then, if the pattern recording member 8 having been recorded with the two-dimensional periodic interference patterns 10 is bleach-treated to convert the intensity distributions of light to the undulation distributions of a gelatin layer, then the fly-eye lens in which microlenses are arrayed closely is obtained.
