Storage method of defective loop in magnetic bubble memory chip

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To achieve the objective with small memory capacity, by not storing duplicated memory if the defective loop information is already stored in the memory when defective minor loop is detected, and storing it in the memory if not stored. CONSTITUTION: Defective minor loop is detected by a plurality of sequential and repetitive tests of each minor loop of the bubble memory of major and minor loop constitution, and the defective minor loop information detected is stored in the memory 10. Further, in case of repetitive test, the defective minor loop information stored defective minor loop information newly developed are compared 18, 9, 13 and collated, and the defective minor loop information stored already in the memory 10 is not stored in the memory 10, and the defective minor loop information not stored in the memory 10 is stored in the memory 10.
