Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate mistake of conveyance of folded section and improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a folded section feeding mechanism, providing one pair of high-speed rotary rollers, is mounted on a feeding end of a folded section conveying device and forming the folded section be supplied and housed in the shape that the back side of the folded section turns to outside in sideways. CONSTITUTION: Motors 16, 32 and a vacuum pump 31 are driven, and belt conveyors 4, 8 forming a folded section carrying device A, a belt conveyor 24 for supplying the folded section and a feeder drum 28 are each operated. The folded section 25 is sideways loaded on the conveyor 24 so as the folded portions, the back sides, being to downward, and the folded section 25 at the most top end is fed into a folded section feed-in device B by the process of absorption and rotary action of the feeder drum 28. Thus, the folded section 25 is carried to a delivery portion of the folded section carrying device A, inserted into rollers 20, 21 revolved by means of a motor 22 in the order that is fed into the feed-in device B and discharged in horizontal condition by means of the rollers 20, 21, the back edges are contacted with a vertical plate of a hopper 6 and the folded section are sideways loaded.
