Information sound generation circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a tone color approximating the actual sound of a bell by forming an attenuation waveform including AC components by intermittent discharge of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When charging pulse 7 is applied to an input terminal, transistor 3 becomes conductive by inverter 2, and capacitor 4 is charged; and when charging pulse 7 is stopped, capacitor 4 is discharged through resistance 5. Then, transistor 9 controls the discharging current according to modulation pulse 11 applied to input terminal 10 to discharge capacitor 4 intermittently. Consequently, attenuation waveform 21 including AC components is obtained at output terminal 12.
