Linear transfer machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily operate an adjustment of the number of stations, and facilitate an operation of automatization and elimination or reduction of labor for the work process, by constructing a work process station with positioning unit and grinding unit. CONSTITUTION:Facing a wing base 11 placed in each station position on a main base 10, is each mounted a position unit 12 and a grinding unit 13. This positioning unit 12 comprises a cam box 14, with each built-in station drive mechanism, a mechanism 15, firmly provided on this cam box and for positioning and clamping a quill spindle 1 at each station, and a unit 16, for this mechanism 15, indexing and rotating the held positioning quill spindle 1. A process station constructed by these positioning unit 12 and grinding unit 13 is arranged in series with one another in a required number, to obtain a linear transfer machine suitable for work process.
