Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To remove a relatively-complicate narcissus spot by inverting the A/D- converted code of the pattern of the narcissus spot stored in RAM and then by adding it to a video signal. CONSTITUTION: Random-access memory 14 is controlled by addresses generated by lateral and longitudinal sweep signals, and narcissus data setting circuit 16 stores the pattern of a narcissus spot in RAM14 by averaging video signal 15 for several fields. Then, the code of the pattern of the narcissus spot stored in RAM14 is A/D-converted 27 and inverted before being added 29 to the video signal. Consequently, an image with the relatively-complicate narcissus spot removed can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
