Polyvinyl chloride resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: Title resin composition that is composed of a vinyl chloride polymer and a specific crosslinked vinyl chloride polymer, thus giving molded products with lusterless and cloth-like patterned surface. CONSTITUTION: (A) A vinyl chloride copolymer is mixed with (B) a crosslinked vinyl chloride copolymer obtained by reaction between (a) vinyl chloride monomer or a mixture mainly containing vinyl chloride and (b) a crosslinking agent bearing a plurality of active double bonds. The component B has 60% or higher gel fraction according to equation I (W 1 is the weight of the part insoluble in THF when 2g of component B is dissolved in 400g. of THF at room temperature for 1 hour), 30 or less swelling degree according to equation II (W 2 is the weight of the part insoluble in THF; W 3 is the weight after impregnated with THF at room temperature for 1 hour) and 10W70micron average particle size.
