Constant voltage circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To remarkably increase the stability of the output voltage of the unit, by taking the base to emitter voltage of a transistor as a multiple of the voltage between the base and emitter of Tr used for the diode. CONSTITUTION: The base of the transistor TrQ 1 is connected to the junction point of the resistors R 1 and R 2 , and the collector is connected to the constant voltage output terminal P 1 . Further, the collector of TrQ 3 is connected to the emitter of TrQ 1 and the base and the collector of TrQ 3 are connected and used as a diode, and the emitter is grounded. On the other hand, the collector of TrQ 3 is connected to the junction of the resistors R 1 and R 3 , and the voltage between the base and emitter is taken as a multiple of the voltage between the base and emitter of TrQ 4 used as a diode. Thus, the variation of the output voltage due to the dispersion of the ratio of the resistors R 1 and R 2 is restricted to remarkably increase the stability of the output of unit.
