Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To allow a large space between adjacent poles and thus to secure a large axial effective ventilation sectional area for cooling air by preventing a field coil from jetting out through providing a plural insulating bolt between pole head and shaft spider. CONSTITUTION: An insulating bolt 8 is mounted axially and at proper intervals between a head 6 of pole 1 and a shaft spider 7, thereby preventing a field coil 2 from jetting out due to centrifugal force. By arranging such, there is no obstacle like a conventional coil bracket present between adjacent poles, therefore a large axial effective ventilation sectional area is secured for cooling air to improve cooling effect consequently.
