Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the shift down and up direction of picture, by correcting the relation of even and odd of luminance signal, in the reproduction of different tape speed at recording. CONSTITUTION: The signal representing odd and even of the field of the reproducing signal and the reference signal is obtained from the detection circuit 20, it is fed to the switch SW 1 selection signal forming circuit 30, and the arithmetic mean luminance signal is selected and the position shift every field of the reproducing picture is compensated.
