Improved composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a composition for film-forming, having excellent extrusion moldability and improved heat-sealability, impact strength, etc., by blending an ethylene copolymer, a soft elastomer comprising an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, a crystalline polypropylene, etc. CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by melt-blending of (A) a copolymer of ethylene and a monomer selected from a vinyl ester, an aliphatic unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, and an ester of said carboxylic acid, pref. an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 3W30wt% of vinyl acetate unit, (B) a soft elastomer having a density of ≤0.91g/cm 3 , and composed of a copolymer of 20W93mol% of ethylene and a 3W12C α-olefin, and (C) a relatively hard polymer selected from crystalline polypropylene, high-density polyethylene and crystalline polybutene-1. The weight ratios of B/(A+B), and C/(A+B) are pref. 0.30W0.10, and 0.7W 0.10, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
