Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To realize high-reliable information processing by conneting two direct memory access units to either computer by switcing in accordance with states of units. CONSTITUTION: Two direct memory access units DMA5 and DMA6 receive information from information transmitter 9 and then supply the information to DMA controller 10 and 11. While units 5 and 6 are both in normal operation, unit 10 writes information from unit 5 in memory 3, and unit 11 also writes that from unit 6 in memory 4 respectively; on receiving abnormality signals 14 and 15 from units 5 and 6, units 10 and 11 lock abnormal information and then write normal information in memories 3 and 4. On the basis of information in memory 3, CPU1 performs its processing while CPU2 carries out that on the basis of information in memory 4; and the both are alternated in accordance with states of units 5 and 6, so that high-reliability information processing will be performed.
