Tank for electric equipment filled with oil
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To increase the mechanical strength of a fin-shaped protruded portion and decrease the weight thereof without increasing the thickness by forming the fin- shaped protruded portion by bending a thin steel sheet in a wave form and providing a side plate which forms a protruded oil chamber in the protruded portion. CONSTITUTION: A heat dissipating plate 12 which also serves as a side wall of a tank for electric equipment containing oil is formed as a fin-shaped protruded portion 11 by continuously bending a thin steel plate in a wave form. The space formed in the protruded portion 11 is extended into the inside of a tank 13, thereby a protruded oil chamber is formed. A plurality of recesses 15a dnd 15b are formed in a grid pattern on opposing side walls 14a and 14b of the protruded oil chamber 14, and the bottoms of the recesses are dontacted each other by spot welding and the like.
