Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of answering change of graduation steps due to color concentration characteristics or due to difference of recording papers by using the ROM as a means which produces applied time capable of decomposing fully color concentration of a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The intervals of each pulse S3-1-S3-15 in gradation pulse signals S3 are assigned to have gradation steps of equal concentration corresponding to color concentration of a recording paper and recording is controlled to equal concentration by applied time signals S4-1-S4-32. A control circuit 30 controls ROM address signals S6 by impression starting signals S5 and generates the gradation pulse signals S3 by means of ROM data output signals S7. The applied time corresponding to the developed color density is read, the data corresponding to the applied time length are written in the ROM40 and controlled by reading. This device can be treated by mere transcription of data for correspondence etc. due to change of the color correspondence characteristics and the circuits are simplified.
