Color video signal compounding device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To secure a high-contrast contour in case the output of the pickup apparatus are compounded by using the chroma-key signal and the shiroma-key (a kind of chroma-key, which background is white) signal for the switch signals of the switch circuit. CONSTITUTION: The composite signal of the shiroma-kdy signal (d) formed by transmitting embedded video signal (a) sent from VTR1 through 1st low band pass filter 2 with processing at contour emphasis circuit 3 and chroma-key signal (g) obtained by processing the chrominance signal isolated through chrominance signal isolator circuit 5 through 2nd low band pass filter 7 is used for the switch signal used to switch circuit 13 of the device which compounds the NTSC-system color video signals. At the same time, signal (a) is applied to switch circuit 13 via 2nd delay circuit 11, and the picture image recorded on VTR1 is compounded with the signal picked up through pickup apparatus 12 within circuit 13 to be then displayed at picture receiver 14. In this constitution, the output signal of apparatus 12 is eliminated in case the signal is not blue among signals (a) of VTR1, and the output of VTR1 is applied to picture receiver 14 to secure a higher-contrast contour.
