Tool for pulling out integrated circuit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To pull out an integrated circuit without damaging pins, by providing scissors-like grip parts and special holding parts. CONSTITUTION: Hooks 14 are placed between an integrated circuit 15 and a receptacle 16. Grip parts 11 are then grabbed. Since each hook 14 has a slope, the integrated circuit 15 is gradually thrusted up and pulled out of the receptacle. At that time, the integrated circuit could not be pulled out in a horizontal posture and pins 17 of the integrated circuit would be bent if frictional forces applied from the receptacle 16 to the pins 17 are not balanced to each other. To prevent such an undesirable phenomenon, leaf springs 13 are provided on the hood hooks 14 to hold the integrated circuit 15 down when it is pulled out. The forces applied to the pins are thus equalized to each other when the integrated circuit is pulled out. Therefore, the pins are prevented from being distorted, broken or bent.
