Tape loader
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to start recording or reproducing operation immediately after cassette replacement, by rapidly stopping a capstan motor when ejecting a cassette from a device. CONSTITUTION: Around the shaft of capstan 20 constituting a tape driving mechanism together with pinch roller 21, band brake 35 with its one terminal fixed and the other connected to one terminal of brake lever 36 is wound. As a result, plunger 45 is pushed out in the opposite direction to arrow 46 in tape run stop mode to rotate pinch roller arm 42 in the opposite direction to arrow 47 and while pinch roller 21 is released from capstan 20, engagement between pinch roller arm 42 and operation lever 40 is made free. Then turning operation lever 40 made free by external force as shown by arrow 48 pulls band brake 35 to put on the brake in the direction of arrow 48, and lock plate 29 turns and is disengaged from lock pawl 28 to release backet 11 from the main body, allowing replecement of cassette 10. Consequently, recording or reproducing operation can immediately be done by releasing the brake after the replacement of cassette 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
