Developing solution for silver halide color photographic material

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned developing agent which is free from oxidation and decomposition of effective components owing to the action of metal ions and whose effect lasts for a long time by compounding the specific compounds and the organic compounds having phosphono groups. CONSTITUTION:The compound (a) shown by general formula I [R is H, (substituted) alkyl of C1-3, carbamoyl, hydroxyl groups, -COOM, -POeM2 (M is H, cation), halogen; n is 0-3], such as formulas II, III about 0.1-30g and the organic compound (b) having one or more phosphono groups such as the one shown by formula IV about 0.01-10g are compounded. Here, the one containing a p- phenylene diamine base developer at about 0.1-30g/l as a coloring developing agent is desirable as the abovementioned developing solution.
