Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent from the adhesion of mud, rain and the like for improving the durability by disposing a damping force adjuster within the shock absorber cylinder. CONSTITUTION: When an angle set unit 21 is set at zero, a motor 19 is starting, an adjuster 13 being revolving through a rod 12, and fully opening a fixed orifice 3b. Subsequently, when the angle set unit 21 is operated in order to select a desired fixed orifice 3b, the input signal of a comparator 22 will be in discord, producing a signal to a motor power source 23, resulting to operate the motor 19. When the motor 19 is operating, the adjuster 13 will be rotating by aid of a rod 12, causing to obtain the desired fixed orifice. When the piston 2 is actuating, a desired damping force will be obtained in contacting with the disk valve 3a. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
