Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a multilateral information display mechanism on the matrix display panel for the TV picture receiver or the like by showing the quality of the tuning control operation by the user on the matrix panel in the form of the display image synthesized by CPU. CONSTITUTION: Tuning display detection output signal 18 featuring the changing level due to the automatic or manual tuning control operation is converted to the digital signal through A/D conversion part 19. This digital signal is then transferred to CPU20 to perform the display picture synthesizing, and then the display picture synthesizing program written into ROM21 and 22 is read into CPU20 to give process to the detection output signal. Then the standard pattern within ROM is read into CPU20. According to the process result of the detection output signal, the standard pattern is deformed or the standard pattern shown by the calculation value of the dB value of the input signal which is converted by the tuning display detection output is selected. Thus the synthesized picture signal is transferred to matrix display panel 15 via interface circuit 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
