Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To fine the crystalline structure, and to improve the strength and hardness, by including Mo, V, Al, and Ni as the binder in the base of TaC and/or NbC. CONSTITUTION: By wt%, 0.5W5.0% Mo, 0.1W5.0% V, 0.1W2.0% Al are all included in the form of metal and carbide, and 3.0W15.0% Ni is included as the binder, in the base of TaC and/or NbC of the titled alloy.
