Production of multicolor optical filter
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To produce the multicolor optical filter used for color image pickup tubes and color solid stage image sensing elements inexpensively with simple processes by applying an outside shape color developing method to the photographic material having a black and white fine grain silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION: An undercoating layer 41 if desired is provided on a backing 40, over the former of which is provided a fine grain black and white emulsion layer 42. Image exposure 55 is performed to the patterns corresponding to the first color of the multicolor optical fiber, e.g., stripe-form patterns of a cyan color, on this photographic material through a photo mask 50. Next, developing is accomplished by the outside shape color developing solution containing cyan couplers whereby the patterns 54 containing cyan dyes are formed. After rinsing of the photographic material, the patterns 64 containing magenta dyes in adjacency to the patterns 54 and further the patterns 74 containing yellow dyes are similarily formed. Next, the photographic material undergoes desilvering, whereby the filter regularly arrayed with the cyan patterns 80, magenta patterns 81 and yellow patterns 82 is obtained.
