Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To minimize the size of the industrial television camera by changing the position of the side mirror so that the beam passing through the optical axis of the lens may pass through nearly the center of the side window. CONSTITUTION: Piston 14 of linear action actuator 13 is expanded and contracted when the viewfield is changed, support axle 9 shifts along the guide groove. Then side mirror 5 changes its inclination to the optical axis to lens 2, and thus the beam passing through the lens optical axis passes through nearly the center of the side mirror. As a result, a big shift of the luminous flux entering lens 2 over side window 6 caused by the inclination of mirror 5 can be prevented, accordingly reducing the opening area for the side window.
