Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the flame-maintaining property, by supplying secondary air to the central part of a flame in parallel therewith to divide the convergent flame into plural parts, lifting the central part and maintaining the flame by the peripheral part. CONSTITUTION: The hold-down plate 27 of a burner head 23 has a central hole 44 fitted with the boss part 32 of the body 24 of the head 23 and has several circumferential flame holes 46 which radially extend from the periphery of the central hole 44 and are divided from one another by linear parts. The hold-down plate 27 is so positioned that each flame hole 46 faces one large hole 41 and two small holes 42 of a pressure equalizing plate 25. The flow of mixed gas of evaporated fuel with primary air in an evaporation cylinder is constricted while passing through the central hole 48 of a rectifying plate 28 so that the passing quantity is made constant and the mixing is promoted. Then, the mixed gas flows through the flame holes 46 of the hold-down plate 27 and is ignited. The secondary air is supplied to the central part of the flame through an ejection hole 35.
