Malfunction detector for servo mechanism
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To perform the detection of failure, by detecting the deviation produced greater than the stationary deviation depending on each delivery speed, through the detection of the delay ih response of servo mechanism by the amount of deviation of the deviation counter and the delivery speed of the instruction pulse, in a numerical control machine tool. CONSTITUTION:The frequency S of the instruction pulse train for the number of pulses N per one revolution of the motor 14 to turn the servo motor 14 to rotate the servo motor 14 in speed V, is expressed as S=NV. Taking the position loop gain of the servo mechanism as F, the deviation DELTAP of the deviation counter with speed V is expressed as DELTAP=NV/F and DELTAP V when N and F are constant numbers. Further, the signal S' proportional to the frequency of the instruction pulse train is produced, it is compared with the deviation DELTAP at that time, and if DELTAP is greater, it shows that there is a failure in the servo mechanism. To detect this failure, the frequency voltage converter 18 produces the signal S' with the instruction pulse, the absolute circuit 19 tales the absolute value of the deviation DELTAP in the deviation counter 11, and the converter 12 obtains the signal in D/A conversion.
