Positive displacement fluid compressor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten the diameter of a housing by taking the center of a disc side plate of a movable scroll R/2 off from the basic circle center of the scroll toward the external end of it and the center of a housing R/2 off in the opposite direction of the external end. CONSTITUTION:A diameter of a disc side plate of a movable scroll member 24 is 2a-R. The a represents distance from the center of a scroll basic circle to the external end of the scroll and the R represents length of a crankarm. The center B of the scroll is R/2 slided from center A of the scroll basic circle toward the external end of it. The center D of the housing is R/2 slided from the center C of the scroll basic circle in the opposite direction of the external end of the scroll. The housing needs 2a+R or more in diameter whose center stands farthest from the external end of the scroll and the length may be cut 3R shorter than the current one 2(a+2R) in diameter.
