Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable high dielectric strength, by providing the centr conductor of microstrip line at the groove on the dielectric substance board. CONSTITUTION:The center conductor 3 is provided at the bottom of the groove 4 provided on the dielectric substance board 2. Further, the lateral width of the groove 4 is taken the same size as that of the center conductor 3. With this constitution, the electric field between the center conductor 3 and the ground conductor 1 is almost concentrated on the dielectric substance board 2, allowing to achieve greater power permissible and dielectric strength in comparison with conventional microstrip lines.
