Stabilizing agent for mixed fuel composed of fuel oil and coal
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide the title stabilizing agent which gives a mixed fuel composed of a fuel oil and coal, having sufficiently high stability even at a high temperature (e.g. at 70°C) or in the absence of water, composed of a quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant. CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 99W70wt%, pref. 95W80wt% of a quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant, e.g. of the formula (R 1 is 10W20C alkyl; R 2 is 1W3C alkyl or 10W20C alkyl; R 3 is 1W3C alkyl; R 4 is 1W3C alkyl or benzyl; X is anionic counter ion), and (B) 1W30wt%, pref. 5W20wt% of a nonionic surfactant, e.g. a polyoxyalkylene nonionic surfactant or a mixture composed mainly of the surfactant.
