Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enable to select the channel having broadcast signal near the channel automatically, by providing the circuit detecting the presence of broadcast signal, when a channel having no broadcast signal is selected. CONSTITUTION: If the channel selected has no broadcast signal, alarm display is made to the alarm display circuit 72 with the output signal from the detection circuit 24, and the mode designation signal of up count mode or down count mode and clock pulse are fed to the counter group 18, by driving the first control signal generation circuit 25. When the counter group 18 is counted up or down from the channel selected and reaches the channel presenst of broadcast signal, the detection circuit 24 drives the second control signal generation circuit 26 to stop the operation of the first control signal generation circuit 25 and to set the channel present of the said braodcast signal to the counter group 18.
