Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To control the size of the character in accordance with the number of the displayed characters and display a number of characters by changing the size of the character on CRT. CONSTITUTION: The character code read from RAM for writing and reading the character code is decoded by the character generator CG, inputted in parallel to the register SR and outputted in series. In accordance with the signal outputted from this register SR, the character written in RAM is displayed on CRT. The transmission timing from the generator CG to the register SR and the shift timing of the register SR are selected. In accordance with the count contents of the transmission timing, the reading address of RAM and the decoder line of the generator CG are specified. The line of the count line corresponding to the reading address of RAM is specified. The particular upper bit of the count content corresponding to the reading address of RAM is fixed.
