Incineration control method for city waste incineration
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To enhance reliability for stable combustion by weighing the bulk of waste on a drying grate, estimating the moisture content of the waste, and conducting an incineration control. CONSTITUTION: The waste 5 charged into a charge hopper 1 is fed from a drying grate 2 to a combustion grate 4 while passing through a drying zone 6 and a combustion zone 7. A weighing instrument 9 weighs the bulk 5' of waste on the grate 2; by this, the specific gravity ρ of the buld 5' of waste is calculated easily and the moisture content factor ε is estimated. Thus, local variations of the moisture content of the waste are evened as a whole, and the presence of the waste hard to burn can be detected clearly. In addition, because the weighing of the waste for estimation of the moisture content is conducted by a mechanical method, the measurement is easy and reliable. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
