Amplifier
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to amplify the high-frequency input of pulse waves simply and efficiently and convert and amplify the input of continuous waves to pulse waves by superposing a pulse voltage onto the bias voltage of a gate electrode. CONSTITUTION:Gate voltage (b) where output voltage (a) [the pulse voltage of peak voltage ¦VG2-VG1¦] of pulse modulator circuit 3 is superposed noto the negative voltage obtained by dividing gate bias votage 12 by potentiometer PM11 through capacitor 10 is applied to gate 8 of FET 6. Under this state, ID (c) is flowed from drain bias power source 13 connected to drain 7 pulsatively by setting the voltage division ratio so that the gate voltage may be value -VG2 exceeding the punch-off voltage (the drain voltage for drain current ID of O) between pulses and may be value -VG1 flowing optimum ID at a pulse time by PM11. As a result, the high-frequency input of pulse waves is amplified by FET 6.
