Temperature controller and recording pen using said controller

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To ensure maintenance of the heating element temperature at a constant level regardless of the state of radiation by approximating the value of the negative resistance to the resistance value of the heating element in case the temperature control is given by connecting the heating element to the power source featuring the negative polarity resistance. CONSTITUTION: Heating element 1 is provided to recording pen 2 which touches the temperature-sensitive recording paper, and the desired working temperature is set up under the fixed radiation conditions and via working temperature setting electric signal supply means 3 comprising DC power source E. The variation of the signal due to the fluctuation of the radiation conditions of element 1 is detected by detection resistance 5, and the signal is applied to signal control circuit 6 consisting of output voltage positive feedback amplifier 6a and negative feedback amplifier 6b. Then the output signal of control circuit 6 is supplied to current supply means 4 through compound circuit 7. Means 4 gives control to current I 0 in order to secure the action point featuring an extremely small positive value for the virtual electric resistance of element 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
