Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a screw conveyer of less residual or pulverization of substances being conveyed, by means of such composition of the auxiliary blade plugging fine clearance between the inside surface of conveyer case and circumference of screwblade as being diffused by frictional wear. CONSTITUTION: Fix screw blade body 4 in spiral form along rotary shaft 3 of screw 2 which is mounted with free rotation around its shaft oriented toward longitudinal direction along the center line of tubular form of conveyer case 1, and provide fine clearance between the external circumference of the blade body 4 and internal wall surface of conveber case 1. Next, fit mounting frame 5 in spiral form on external edge of effective conveying side of blade body 4, and in its groove 5', fit in free sliding status toward radial derection, band-shaped auxiliary blade body 6 made of felxible elastic material which may be energized with spring 7. By means of this constitution, the screw can be rotated for a long period under the above mentioned non-clearance status, resulting in use of the machine with protection against residual or pulverization of substances to be conveyed.
