Charging method
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To avoid the charging unevenness caused by the difference of mobile speed of the recording media, by exerting the applied voltage of electrostatic recording facsimile by pulse control. CONSTITUTION: One of the output pulses of the step pulse generator 14 variable in the number of pulses is given to the pulse motor 12 through the pulse motor driver 15. Another is frequency-divided at the pulse frequency division circuit 16, to obtain the applied time of a given amplitude with the monostable multivibrator 17. The primary of the transformer type high voltage power supply 19 is interrupted with the AC relay 18 during this applied time to obtain pulsive high voltage for charging from the power supply 19. With the method like this, independently of the mobile speed of the recording media, uniform charging is made to a given area. That is, the synchronism between the mobile speed and the applied voltage is the same that the recording media is moving at a given speed, and this enables charging uniformity unevenness.
