Magnetic tape cassette case

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the quality of magnetic recording by protecting a magnetic tape from a an external noise and external magnetism by molding a cassette case with a complex magnetic material obtained by mixing and dispersing metallic powder and magnetic powder into a polymer material. CONSTITUTION: A complex magnetic material which iron-metallic powder and manganese ferrite powder, large in mechanical hardness and in electric resistance, are mixed into a polymer material of plastic such as polypropylene, etc., is used to mold a cassette case for a magnetic tape. In this way, giving magnetism to the cassette case can protect a magnetic pate from an external magnetic field containing noise field and improve quality of magnetic recording.
