Manufacture of magnetic head

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a video head which has a high- precision gap and excellent performance, by using a metal magnetic material which can be obtained only in a thin plate shape. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic thin plate 8 and auxiliary core 9 of magnetic ferrite with notch part 12 are stacked and connected alternately and end materials 10 are arranged at both the ends. Then, core block 15 with its top surface molded by glass 14 is provided with coil winding window 16, frame 17 and bevel 18 by working and mirror finsihing of gap formation surface 19 and back surface 20 is done. On surface 19, a couple of core blocks 15' provided with glass gap spacer film is confronted and connected by heating through control block 25 with out shifts of track parts 21 and 22, thereby making mold part 23 in one. At the same time, back part 24 is also joined by glass. Next, the core lamination body is sliced and plates 8 form a primary magnetic circuit through front gap 27 and back gap.
